Dubai is one of seven emirates in the United Arab Emirates. The Dubai Work Visa procedure is comparable to the other emirates. A foreign person must have a valid residence visa to seek employment and dwell in the UAE. The foreign national may get a Work visa after receiving a Residence Visa. The Ministry of Labour issues UAE Labour Cards or Employment Work visas.

Foreign nationals would typically have acquired employment before entering the Emirates. Thus, foreign people are not required to undertake the official Work Visa issuance-related procedures upon admission. The employer is responsible for handling all visa-related processes. In addition, the employer is legally required to cover the costs associated with obtaining a Work visa for the employee.
